about

This is a live recording made when tex la homa played at the Invitation of Alan from Krayon recordings, he and others also played that night as did Spencer Clarke (Skaters) as Vodka Soap.

The line up for this gig was myself (Matthew Shaw), Michael Tanner and Nicholas Palmer. We used a mixture of handmade and bought instruments, voice and various effects. This was the first of only two occasions tex la homa has played with this line up.
Playing these gigs with Michael and Nick was a great experience and led on to Micheal and i making music together under the name Cat Lady. Michael will be better known to some of you as Plinth, and Nick as Directorsound. Michael and Nick also record together as The A-Lords and both play live with Sharron Kraus.

This tex la homa gig took place on Monday 13th October 2008 in the back room of The Winchester in Bournemouth, England. Although a pub now, it was once a bank and we played in the room that was once the vault.
This recording is previously unreleased and is available now for you to listen to and download for free.
